NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of West Nottingham Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, at its regular Board of Supervisors meeting to be held on October 28, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. prevailing time, at the Township Municipal Building, 100 Park Road, Nottingham, Pennsylvania, will consider the adoption of, and if approved, will adopt an Ordinance entitled:
AN ORDINANCE PURSUANT TO SECTION 3363 OF THE PENNSYLVLANIA MOTOR VEHICLE CODE, CHAPTER 75, AMENDING CHAPTER 15, SECTION 201.1 OF THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST NOTTINGHAM, BY PROVIDING FOR A MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT ON A PORTION OF CEMETERY ROAD AND AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATE SIGNAGE, EFFECTIVE UPON ENACTMENT.
The principal provisions and regulations are summarized as follows:
Section 1. – Amends Township Code, Chapter 15, §201.1, to establish a maximum speed limit of 25 MPH on Cemetery Road beginning at .75 of a mile from the intersection of Christine Road and Cemetery Road to Park Road.
Section 2. – Requires posting of signs in accordance with 67 Pa. Code PennDOT regulations.
Section 3. – Repeals ordinances or parts of ordinances conflicting with the terms of the Ordinance confirms all other terms, provisions and requirements remain in full force and effect.
Section 4. – Effective Date. Provides for the ordinance taking effect immediately upon enactment.
